Without doubt, Ebola is one scary disease. People have died from it and it’s easy to see why people would be concerned. But, leave it up to the good ‘ol USA to go absolutely bat-S crazy with Ebola scares. Oh, public events are being cancelled, people keeping kids home from school, and people wearing medical masks are just the start to this mass hysteria. So here’s a couple historical events that actually happened that were scarier than the current Ebola situation in the U.S.
1. Trojan Horse: Greeks constructed a wooden horse statue and in it hid a number of soldiers. They “offered” it to the city of Troy and, when the “gift” was accepted, the soldiers waited until nightfall, climbed out of the horse, opened the gates, and let all the other soldiers in. To this day I never bring a large hollowed out statue of a horse into my house.
2. Black Death: During the outbreak of the Bubonic Plague in the 14th century, attacking armies would catapult the corpses of people who died from the disease over the walls and into the city they wished to conquer. Their hopes were that the people got infected and died from the same disease. It is for this reason alone that I have a roof on my house. Also, keeps birds from pooping on my head.
3. Magic Johnson had a talk show. Yes…it happened.

GAME OF THRONES UPDATE: Finished Season 1 Episode 9. Joffrey needs a spanking. He was very bad to remove Neds head. Bad, Joffrey, Bad!
Alright, everyone. Comment time…are the American people just overreacting…again?
