BGOBGAI! Quickie:
Unless there was some sort of massive genetic mutation that occurred of which I know nothing about, everyone reading this was once a child that was born to a woman (BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mom!). When we were children I can only assume we were big fans of Disneyland and/or Disneyworld.
One of my favorite rides/exhibits was The Haunted Mansion. Boy, I loved everything about it. Of course, they changed all of it, making it worse, but the memories of the original still are present in my rapidly deteriorating mind. But I always wondered how they made the ghosts dance in the dining room/ballroom.
The trick that was used was an old gag called “Pepper’s Ghost.” You can see an illustration of it below. This is why there is slanted glass in front of your “Doom Buggie” in the dining room scene and this is why are are actually several feet off the floor and not actually on the floor like you think you are.
Cool huh?
